Electoral System

I know that first past the post comes out with a overall income, but lets face it, it is unfair that if the general election outcome is 32% to 30% between the top parties, that the one with 32% of the vote gets 51% of the seats. This is why i think some form of proportional representational voting system should be used. Whether it is an existing one or one to be made. If we want democracy and our voices heard, then it is the only way. Now most of you who are politically awair may tell me that there are faults in PR as well. But this is politics, and infact, not everyones going to agree with me, thats how democracy works, and also there are flaws in every political solution you may come up with. It's all about whether the risk is worth it. And I think any risk is worht taking to ensure democracy. And if my cabinet suggestion is put up, then we have no worry about a government that has to appeal to the party they had to join to become government with an overall majority in the commons. Now thats where another suggestion comes in. If my cabinet proposal doesn't appease you, then if it is the same as it is now I personally think it is better that a government is more democratic and doesn't have an overall majority of the House than have to join up with another to become the government. If they had to have an overall majority then I suggest that the only party that can choose to join up is the one with the most votes. And they can only pick the 2nd party in the running and it is up to the 2 parties whether or not to make a unitary government.
